Rega Amplifiers
Rega amplifiers exist to do one thing: pass the music on without adding to it. The ladder is simple — io, Brio MK7, Elex MK4, Elicit MK5, Aethos — and every rung buys power, a stiffer supply and better parts rather than features you will never use. All of them up to the Elicit carry a moving-magnet phono stage, so a Planar needs no extra box. Above the Aethos the range splits into separates: the Mercury pre-amplifier and the Solis power amplifier.
