Older Rega decks — Planar 2 and 3, P1, RP1, Planet, Planar 25 — were built before the 24V motor, and this kit retrofits it: the same low-noise, low-vibration motor as the current range, on a hand-tuned board, rigidly mounted. It also opens the door to the Neo or TT-PSU, which the old motor could not use. Have your dealer fit it.
