Ania Pro
The Ania Pro is Rega's accessible way into moving-coil, and the first cartridge here that trades output for speed. Its coil is hand-wound on a tiny iron cross inside a rigid PPS body, driven by a high-power Neodymium magnet, with a Vital-profile nude diamond doing the reading. The low mass lets it track the groove with a nimbleness magnet cartridges struggle to match — but its ~350µV output needs a moving-coil phono stage, so plan for that. It pairs naturally with the Planar 6 and Planar 8. Below the aluminium-bodied Apheta 3, it is the value entry to what moving-coil does differently.
