Rega
The Aos is a dedicated moving-coil stage that brings the circuit of Rega's reference Aura down into a compact half-width case. It is all-analogue — no digital control anywhere in the signal path — with parallel low-noise FETs, wide loading and gain adjustment, and a self-adjusting servo that compensates for temperature. It sits above the Fono MC MK4 and below the full Aura: the step you take when your cartridge and system have outgrown the standard Fono but a 13kg reference stage is more than you need. For a good moving-coil on a resolving system, it is a lot of the Aura's ability in a fraction of its footprint.
