The Carbon Pro is the easiest upgrade in the range: it drops onto an existing Rega Carbon cartridge in seconds — no realignment, no cartridge removal — and swaps the standard conical tip for a bonded elliptical one. The finer profile reads more of the groove, so dynamics and detail lift immediately. For any Planar 1, 1 Plus or 2 owner still on the standard Carbon, it is the most performance you can add for the least money or effort. Think of it as a half-step toward the Nd cartridges without changing anything else.
