Planar 6 RS
The Planar 6 RS lifts the standard Planar 6 by reaching one tier up for its tonearm: the RB880, normally found on the Planar 8, factory-fitted and aligned. It keeps the Tancast 8 foam-core plinth and matched Neo MK2 supply, adds a CNC twin-pulley drive with two reference belts for tighter speed control, and lets you choose between the Nd9 moving-magnet and the Ania moving-coil cartridge. If the Planar 6 is the sensible skeletal deck, the RS is the one that quietly closes much of the gap to the Planar 8 while keeping the classic form and dustcover.
