Fono MC MK4
The Fono MC MK4 is the moving-coil counterpart to the Fono MM — the stage you need once you move to an Ania Pro, Apheta 3 or Aphelion 2, whose tiny output a magnet stage cannot lift. It uses a low-noise FET input for the quietness moving-coils demand, and gives you gain and loading adjustment on rear DIP switches, so it suits third-party cartridges as well as Rega's. It leaves the factory set for the Rega MC range. If you are stepping from moving-magnet to moving-coil, this is the partner that makes the jump worthwhile without reaching for reference money.
